Motor Insurance

If your vehicle was damaged in the result of an accident you should:

  • Inform the following competent authorities:
    • In case of traffic accidents inform the traffic police of Armenia,1-77, 010 52 27 63
    • In case of illegal actions by third parties inform the Police of RA, 1-02
    • In case of a fire or an explosion inform the Fire Service of the RA, 1-01
    • In case of natural disasters inform the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA, 911
    • In case of an injury call an ambulance, 1-03
  • Immediately call 010 59 21 21 and report about the insured accident to “INGO ARMENIA” ICJSC and follow the instructions of the specialist
  • Do not move the Motor Vehicle until the arrival of the police and the representatives of “INGO ARMENIA”
  • Write down the state numbers of the cars which participated in the accident
  • Take photos (including by cell phone) of the accident site and its’ participants, if possible
  • Strictly avoid admission of guilt or coming to an any other agreement without informing “INGO ARMENIA” ICJSC
  • Please carefully read before signing the documents about the crash or something else, drawn up by the authorities
  • Under the instruction of RA Traffic Police Officer or “INGO ARMENIA” company’s specialist pass field sobriety test.

To submit a compensation demand you need to provide the following main documents:

  • Written statement on insurance accident
  • Insurance Policy
  • Documents proving the identity (in the case of a legal entity a certificate of registration with the liner containing the manager’s data)
  • Power of attorney, if the applicant is not the owner
  • Driving license and passport of the driver
  • Certificate of vehicle registration (technical certificate) (original or approved copy, if the vehicle is under a pledge)

As well:

  • In case of RTA (road traffic accident)
    • Standard procedure of damages compensation
      • Protocol of driver’s sobriety test (except in cases when the company frees the driver from the obligation to pass this test)
      • The document confirming the accident (the conclusion of the Traffic Police of Armenia, or the investigator’s decision)
      • The scheme of the accident, drawn up by the traffic police
      • Explanation of the driver or drivers
      • Power of attorney, if the applicant is not the owner
      • Copy of judicial motor-technical examination conclusion*
      • Copy of trace examination conclusion*

*By the company’s request

  • Simplified system of compensation of damages in case of accident up to 400 000 AMD
    • Only the above mentioned basic documents
  • In case of fire:
    • Conclusion of Fire technical examination
  • In case of hijacking:
    • Collection of original keys of the vehicle
    • Certifying document about the application to the Police of RA
    • The decision to institute criminal proceedings
    • The decision of the Police on the results of the criminal case investigation
  • In case of unlawful actions of the 3rd parties

    • Certifying document about the application to the Police of RA
    • The decision to institute criminal proceedings
    • The decision of the Police on the results of the criminal case investigation
  • In case of natural disaster:
    • Reference, confirming the accident received from MES (Ministry of Emergency Situations), hydro meteorological services or other authorities.

Applications about the accident, must be provided within 30 days and the remaining documents within 60 days after the submission of the application .

Property Insurance

If your property is damaged you should:

  • Undertake all possible measures for prevention or minimization of damages and saving the property from destruction.
  • Inform the following competent authorities:
    • In case of a fire or an explosion inform the Fire Service of the RA, 1-01, Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA, 911
    • In case of illegal actions by the third parties inform the Police of RA, 1-02
    • In case of natural disasters inform the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA, 911
    • In case of water damage the condominium or emergency services
  • Call “INGO ARMENIA” ICJSC without delay on following number: (010) 59 21 21, inform about the accident and follow instructions of the specialist
  • If possible, take photos of the damaged property
  • Not take any action that may change the appearance of the damaged property (if these actions are not taken to prevent or minimize the extent of damages)
  • If the property was damaged as a result of actions of 3-rd parties, it is strictly prohibited to come to any agreement without consent of INGO ARMENIA ICJSC

To present compensation demand You need the following main documents:

  • Written statement on insurance accident
  • Insurance Policy
  • Passport of owner of the property (in the case of a legal entity a certificate of registration with the liner containing the manager’s data)
  • The power of attorney and a passport if the applicant is not the owner
  • Certificate of Ownership

As well:

  • In case of fire:
    • Conclusion of Fire technical examination
    • Documents, confirming the extent of the damage
  • In case of theft, robbery, armed assault and illegal actions of third parties
    • Certifying document about the application to the Police of RA
    • The decision on opening a criminal case
    • Final decision of the Police on the results of the criminal case investigation
    • Documents, confirming the extent of the damage
  • In case of a natural disaster:
    • Reference, confirming the fact of event, received from Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA, hydro meteorological service or other authorities
    • Documents, confirming the extent of the damage
  • In case of water damage:
    • Certificate, confirming the fact of event, received from a condominium, emergency services or another appropriate authority
    • Conclusion of the investigation of the causes of the accident
    • Documents, confirming the extent of the damage
Medical Insurance

In order to receive medical services included in the insurance coverage, the Insured can apply:

  • Call Center by the phone number 59 21 21
  • PPO of the Insurer CIM “Vardanants” by the phone number 59 21 00
  • The licensed medical centers, operating on the territory of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, (List of Partner Medical Centers)
  • The ambulance service,1-03

Necessary information:

  • Name and Last Name of the insured
  • Insurance card number (in the case of the absence of the card – passport number or date of birth)
  • Details of the accident.

If the Insured applied to one of the INGO ARMENIA ICJSC partner medical centers (List of Partner Medical Centers) or to another service provider (a pharmacy, optics, etc.) and the medical case is under the insurance coverage, then all the payments are done by INGO ARMENIA ICJSC directly to medical center.

If the Insured applied to medical center, which is not a partner organization of INGO ARMENIA ICJSC, then all the payments are done by insured him/herself. After receiving medical treatment Insured must submit all documents required by contract to INGO ARMENIA ICJSC at the defined time period.

If Insured person has applied to medical institutions in the territory of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh without advanced informing the Insurer, within 24 hours afterward Insured should inform Insurer about it by calling all day customer support call center by phone number 59 21 21. The insured shall pay for the provided medical services him/herself and submit all documents required by contract to INGO ARMENIA ICJSC at the defined time period.

 List of documents required for the settlement of the claim:

  • Claim form (in accordance with settled form by Insured)
  • Medical Documents:
    • In the case of outpatient treatment – medical report, and in case of inpatient treatment – epicrisis. The document must contain information about medical complaints, medical examinations, final diagnosis, and prescribed treatment. The medical report should be approved by the stamp of the appropriate medical center.Sample:
    • In case of Dental claims medical report must contain description of provided service (number of teeth, treatment) and the price of each service. If the dentist is registered as a private entrepreneur and has no stamp, copy of the license must be provided. Sample
  • Supporting financial documents: invoice, or fiscal checks or cash receipt
  • Results of para-clinical examinations (if necessary).
  • The above mentioned documents can also be submitted electronically by sending scanned documents to the following email: personalcontact@ingoarmenia.am. For the final settlement and payment of the claim Insured must submit original documents to INGO ARMENIA ICJSC office within 15 working days.
Travel Insurance

In case of a Travel Insurance event You should:

  • Inform appropriate authorities of the place where took place the insurance event (hotel administration, representatives of carrier companies, local law authorities) and inform of Insurance availability,
  • Call service center without delay on the stated phone number on the first page of the Insurance Policy (+7 495 258 85 59) and inform of the insurance event or contact “INGO ARMENIA” ICJSC,
  • Service center employees will immediately react and organize necessary medical help,
  • The all compensated cases included in policy are provided by the service center (assistance) and compensated by “INGO ARMENIA” insurance company.

If immediately after the insurance event there was no possibility to call service center, in order to present insurance event statement it is essential to introduce during 30 days after coming back the following documents :

  • Statement on insurance event, including detailed information about:
    • Nature and circumstances of the event,
    • Dates of travel,
    • Causes of the accident
    • Reasons, because of which there was no possibility to call the service center without a delay
  • A copy of the Insurance Policy (the original, if requested by the company),
  • Original of invoice introduced by the medical institution (printed on appropriate form or on a paper with a stamp), including the surname of the insured person, medical diagnosis, date of appeal for medical help, duration of treatment, list of provided services well-ordered according to its’ cost and duration, total cost of provided medical services,
  • Originals of recipes written out by a doctor, concerning current disease, including stamps of pharmacies and cost of each medical preparation,
  • Original list of passing laboratory examinations, including prices of provided services with marked prices and dates for each service provided, written out by a doctor
  • Original invoice provided by the medical institution for the services provided, including the surname of the insured, the medical conclusion, date of treatment, duration of the treatment, list of services ordered according to price and duration, and also the total cost of services provided
  • Documents, confirming expenses incurred, concerning treatment, purchase of medicine and providing other medical services.
  • Documents confirming the identity of the person, receiving the insurance compensation
Personal Accident Insurance

In case of insurance accident the Assured is obliged to call INGO ARMENIA ICJSC via number 010-59-21-21 and report the following information:

  • Name and Last Name
  • Number of the insurance card (in the absence of card – passport number)
  • Details of the insured accident

Insurance compensation is based on the written application from the Insured (the insured person, beneficiary) and documents which confirm the occurrence of the insurance accident.
Insured (the insured person, beneficiary) should present the following documents to Insurance company in order to receive an insurance compensation:

To present a compensation demand, the following documents must be presented to the INSURER:

  • Main documents:
    • Insurance Policy (agreement)
    • Claim form with detailed description of the insurance accident and possible ways to receive insurance compensation (cash or bank transfer)
    •  Act about industrial accident if the insurance accident occurred during the performance of duties of the insured person
    • Original certificate issued by the relevant authority of police (if required)

    As well:

  • In the case of the insured person’s death:
    • Тhe original death certificate of the insured person or it’s notarized copy
    • Medical conclusion about the cause of death
    • Notarized copy of the certificate of inheritance
    • A document confirming the identity of the person who receives insurance compensation
  • In the case of the approval of the the insured person’s disability:
    • Reference of disability group, if the insured person is a child under 16 years, there must be a submitted reference about social security of insured person’s parents, guardian, trustee
    • The insured person’s history of illnesses
    • A document confirming the identity of the person who receives insurance compensation.
  • In the case of the temporary or permanent disability, deteriorating health of insured person in the result of accident:
    • The original copy of the insured person’s history of the illness
    • A copy of the sick leave paper confirmed by the Human Resources Department of the insured person’s employer company
    • A document confirming the identity of the person who receives insurance compensation.
