Position: HR Specialist

Description: We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Specialist, who will handle a wide range of HR activities, including mostly recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employee relations.  This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple aspects of HR and is eager to contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Reporting To: Head of HR Department

 

Responsibilities:

 Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Job Postings: Draft and post job openings on various platforms, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and shortlist candidates for interviews.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Offer Management: Prepare and extend job offers, manage negotiations, and coordinate pre-employment processes.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

 Employee Relations:

  • Issue Resolution: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace issues and provide support in resolving conflicts.
  • Employee Communication: Communicate company policies, procedures, and benefits to employees clearly and effectively.
  • Engagement: Assist in organizing and executing employee engagement activities and programs.

Payroll Support:

  • Payroll Assistance: Support the payroll process by ensuring accurate timekeeping and assisting with payroll queries.

Special Projects:

  • HR Initiatives: Participate in or lead special HR projects, such as HR system upgrades, or organizational restructuring efforts.
  • Event Planning: Help plan and execute company events, such as team-building activities and recognition programs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Specialist or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
